Listen up — your favorite quirky UK quartet The Kooks are coming to 9:30 Club this Sunday, July 27, and we’ve got two tickets to give away! In anticipation of their forthcoming LP, Listen, scheduled to release September 1, The Kooks have released a couple of new tracks, including the single “Bad Habit” below. Featuring their signature style — electric guitar, choppy percussion, and the unique vocal stylings of lead singer Luke Pritchard — the new track shows promise for the new album.

I think it was about a year ago I wanted to see The Kooks but they were opening for foster the people at the time and I couldn’t afford the tickets. I remember a friend of mine bought tickets though so I messages him the night of saying have a good time. To his absolute luck I had woke him up right before the show started and he was able to catch them! He thanked me for spamming his phone that night and told me the show was amazing. I’ve wanted to see them ever since!
BECAUSE THEIR MGMT COVER MADE ME ALMOST CRY AND I HAVEN’T CRIED SINCE I WAS A BABY.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I WOULD DO ANYTHING TO GO TO THIS SHOW!!!! The Kooks have beeny favorite band for 4 years and I’ve never gotten the chance to see them! When tickets went on sale for their show at the 9:30 club, I didn’t have the money to get them right away, but I was trying to save up money. Before I knew it they were sold out! I’ve resorted now to the plan of going down to 9:30 club in hopes to see them and beg them to put me on he guest list because I need to see them!! Please help me out so I can ACTUALLY go to the show!!
